ReStroma Consulting

ReStroma Consulting:

ReStroma Consulting provides a window into the pragmatic dynamics and perspectives of relationships that influence organizational change & learning initiatives. Discovering, negotiating and supporting relational dynamics in context is essential to any initiative. Such work isn’t always easy to do or to measure, so organizations rely solely on individualistic & personality-focused approaches rather than address the work team and others affecting or affected by the work of individuals, teams and organizations as a whole. To make the relational approach easier, and more likely to produce sustainable success, ReStroma provides ‘scaffolding’ (designed to be removed) in the form of encounter facilitation, data collection & reporting tools, and supportive content, with a view to leave our clients with relational dynamics that are healthy, resilient and adaptable for the future.

Simon Fowler

Principal

Simon Fowler comes from a career in training and development, co-designing and implementing behavior change and reskilling solutions in biotech, aerospace, finance and energy. Most recently he was VP Learning Product Development at Korn Ferry, following membership of the Senior Leadership Team at AchieveForum. He brings deep experience in behavior change, observing keenly what works and what doesn’t work, mostly recognizing from reading, the research and from direct experimentation the limitations of individualistic approaches to almost anything in life. In a volunteer capacity through his church, Simon has most recently co-led key initiatives: providing emergency food relief in the areas
of Boston most impacted by COVID; resettling Afghan refugee ‘new neighbors’; running weekly dinners & breakfasts in downtown Boston for the unhoused. Simon is shaped deeply by a Christian faith, a large family with six sisters and no brothers,, and early experiences traveling the world including time in El Salvador during the civil war, and working with Burmese students recording the atrocities inside Burma at the time. Co-founder of a New England non-profit with a focus on relationships, Simon and colleagues shut it down because they realized that they weren’t willing to sacrifice their most important relationships in order to tell others to prioritize theirs.
